DEDICATED INTERNET ACCESS (DIA)
Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) provides businesses with access to the Internet via high-speed, non-shared connections.
DIA is designed for businesses that want to simplify their communications while still maintaining the highest level of
performance. There are two separate components that make up DIA; the local loop and the DIA port. The local loop is the
actual connection from the customer's physical location to their DIA provider, while the DIA port is simply the portal
that allows for access to the Internet.
The selection of connection speeds is diverse, ranging from 128Kbps on a T1 loop to a 2488 Mbps OC48. With such a wide
range of connection options, businesses can choose the connection speed and price that suits them best.

DSL
DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is designed to allow high speed data communication over the existing copper telephone lines between and small businesses
and their providers. With DSL, you may be able to receive data at rates up to 6.1 megabits (millions of bits) per second (of a theoretical 8.448 megabits
per second), allowing continuous transmission of motion video, audio, and even 3-D effects. Individual connections will provide from 1.544 Mbps to 512 Kbps
downstream and about 128 Kbps upstream. DSL is a popular choice among homes and small businesses and is expected to replace ISDN.

ADSL
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is an evolving high-speed transmission technology which uses existing copper wires to transmit information
from the telephone company central office to the subscriber’s premises. ADSL is used to send high speed signals up and down those copper wires, however
it sends more information one way than another- hence the term “asymmetric.” ADSL will perform either more uploading or more downloading- the ratio won’t be equal.

SDSL
SDSL (Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line) technology offers digital bandwidth of up to 2.3 Mbps both ways- hence the term “symmetrical.” The use of
SDSL allows the user to transmit equal amounts of uploaded and downloaded information.

INTEGRATED T-1
Integrated T-1 allows the user to send both voice and data signals over a single communications channel. Choosing Integrated T-1 is a money saving d
ecision because instead of paying for a separate line for data and voice, the consumer only pays for the single line in which voice and data are both transmitted.
