Tim sees himself as different from other sales professionals. “I don’t preach change for change’s sake. I only recommend change if it makes sense for my customer, providing features that will get the business where it wants to be and if that change is right for the company’s bottom line.”
He understands where his customers are coming from. “Some people have little information about this industry and others have been burned in the past. I want to put people at ease, educate them and help them understand how Infinite Technology Consulting brings value. Customers seem to appreciate that.
For the past 35 years, Tim has worked for many companies, performing installations and service and working with hardware and software groups. “I’ve been in sales for the past 13 years and it was easy to transition into that field because of my knowledge of the industry.
“My uncle inspired me. He worked for New York Telephone and, when I was young, that seemed to be a neat thing. I like working with my hands and I started with a small phone company in Carmel, NY.”
His knowledge base includes methods of getting companies into new technology, particularly hosted telephone systems, at affordable prices.
“I help companies get the best bang for the buck, in areas such as connectivity across multiple sites or getting data out of a dusty back closet and onto the cloud so that it’s secure and effective. Nobody has to worry about losing data… I keep saying that because it’s true, the cloud never sleeps. If a business loses phone and Internet access, its customers need never know because we can route the calls to an alternate number —cell phone or home phone. That’s disaster-proof.”
Tim enjoys his relationships with his customers and many have become his friends. “I like sitting down with companies and going over their needs, where they are now and where they’d like to be in five years. Where can we be cost effective? I can come up with ideas pretty much immediately, and explain how Infinite Technology Consulting can make business better.”
His promise to his customers is accessibility. “I really enjoy helping people, saving them money while offering better service. I’ve found a lot of people need help but don’t know to go about getting it.
“Every business comes down to service and I’m there to take care of my customers after the sale. They don’t need to deal with a big call center and an inexperienced person with a script. They can talk to me and I will take care of them. I treat people like I do my brothers and sisters because, at the end of the day, that’s what we all are to each other.”
